What is Toast?
Time On A Sunday Together (TOAST) is an informal, family orientated service at Romsey Methodist Church which takes place on the first Sunday of every month. At TOAST we have lots of activities, crafts, drama, music and much more with all ages together discovering more about God.
We start at 9am with a couple of songs and introduce the morning's theme, often with a story, drama or DVD. After this there are a range of activites to choose between, families can engage in any activity together or split up, whatever suits you best. Activities could include craft, cooking, dancing, painting, bible studies, opportunity for quite reflection and prayer or just time for a chat. We meet together again at the end to share what we have been doing in our separate activities.
At 9:45 the main session finishes but TOAST is not over, we end our morning with breakfast together. Where there is always (amongst other things) plenty of toast!
All are welcome
"Family orientated" does not just mean child friendly, it means adult friendly too! The varitey of activities we provide makes it suitable for all ages and everyone is welcome!
